Shanghai, China – The hit animated show Super BOOMi has been acquired by China's top children's broadcaster, CCTV Channel 14, for airing throughout the primetime summer season.

 

Beginning in June, Super BOOMi airs on weekend and holiday multi-hour blocks to millions of households across the country.

 

Since its debut on CCTV, the show's ratings have exceeded expectations, with Super BOOMi ranking amongst leading series such as Peppa Pig, My Little Pony, Paw Patrol and Super Wings during the primetime period.

 

BOOMi’s performance on CCTV has built on the success his cartoon has enjoyed on the other major channels in the country, including Hunan TV, Beijing TV, and Guangdong TVS5, where it has topped TV ratings across China several times.

 

Super BOOMi also recently surpassed one billion views on the country’s largest SVOD platform, Tencent Video.

 

Featuring vibrant characters and richly-imagined world, Super BOOMi is a positive, creative series about the power of imagination and friendship. The characters' experiences also teach kids about working together and thinking creatively to solve problems.

 

Produced by Up Studios, Super BOOMi is not only beloved by millions of kids and parents, but has also garnered partnerships with brands such as Apple, Intercontinental Hotel Group and Nelvana, which recently acquired the international distribution rights for the show to sell globally.
